Keep an eye on background tasks

A subtle badge tells you in real time whether the CMS is still working in the background — handy to know when your public site is truly up to date.

When you publish a page, replace an image or edit a collection, the CMS triggers several background tasks: thumbnail generation, site data updates, cache propagation, and so on.

Most of the time it's instantaneous — but on larger volumes, it can take a few seconds to a few minutes.

To save you from wondering « did it go through? », a green « Running tasks » pill now appears at the bottom right of the interface as long as work is still ongoing. As soon as it disappears, you know everything has been propagated and that your public site reflects your latest changes.

You can keep working in the meantime — it's just a convenience indicator, nothing blocks you.
